2 tablespoons olive oil

1 red onion, halved and sliced

1 teaspoon salt

2 garlic cloves, diced

1 cup carrot, peeled and sliced

2 tablespoons lemon juice

½ Cup unsweetened coconut milk

1 red chili, sliced

2 tablespoons mustard seeds

1 tablespoon curry powder

1/3 tablespoon turmeric powder

2 cups cabbage, shredded or sliced (core removed)

½ Cup water


Press sauté button of instant Pot and sauté onion in olive oil for 4 minutes.

Then start adding salt, garlic, red chili, mustard seeds, curry powder, turmeric powder, cabbage, carrots, lemon juice, and water.

Press the Warm button of the instant pot and lock the lid.

Set timer for 5 minutes at high pressure.

After 5 minutes do a quick release to let the steam escape.

Add coconut milk.

Stir it for few times and then serve.
